Sunday 11/14/04 @ 12:15 PM: Telephone rings.
A dreary half sleeping LaPu rolls awake, glances at caller ID.
"CHEVAL PROPERTY" It reads.
Expecting to hear a campaign speech from a Cheval Property Owner's Association board member campaigning for next week's elections, LaPu reluctantly answers the telephone.
A deep male voice echoes across the telephone lines "I have a 'Giselle' here." he states. Merely going about his businnes
Euphoria erupts through the mind and heart of LaPu, instantly awake and no longer groggy from a late night out and a long night sleeping. Could it be, that on a sunday when LaPu is typically withheld from such pleasures, the one thing that brings him into a state of such utter bliss is mere minutes away from his dwelling. Trying to coherently articulate a positive response to the man's statement, a mumbled phrase of "YES! let her in!" is heard.
The man is gone.
Looking down, LaPu realizes he is not propperly clothed. (problem? well, not really.) He races to his closset, grabs an old pair of "Pajama pants" and a large "Chippewa Elementry" T-Shirt. Standing just outside the door now, he waits with much antici...PATION. Is this merely a hoax, or will his hopes and joys be confirmed by the sighting of that beautiful Salsa Red steed, a vessel containing the object of his stongest, most heartfelt emotions.
Around the bend that steed rolled, and the heart of LaPu continued to swell. Somehow even her brief presence forces his entire persona into an ieffable feeling of joy, euphoria, and abosolute bliss.
Ok, everyone. This girl is better than all of you. She drove a sold 40 minutes, unexpected, to see me! You cannot imagine the amazing feeling I have right now. Luckily, my parents were gone and we had a couple of hours to ourselves. It was an amazing afternoon, leaving me longing for the next.
Giselle, I Love You more than you know.
