It would seem that several of the arrivals are more of nuisances than friends to some, but either way, it seems to be a tactic to mess with others' minds.

I too, am curious as to when this event will end.

Mild nuisances arriving was probably just a bonus for the Animus. Either they wanted to 'clip' the happiness or they couldn't control everyone that arrived.

The last event was two weeks so perhaps this one will also be of such a length.

If they lost control over them, it makes me wonder if they do have a limit to their abilities.

That is possible. This could mean events will all become longer, unless this is just to throw us off.

Perhaps they do have a limit.

Maybe they're varying the lengths to be less predictable.

Hm...I wonder how far they can go. I need to find the precise limits of theirs.

Another possibility. They seem to enjoy being unpredictable.

A feel a bit more observation might be needed before you can measure their powers and limits.
