Laundry Blogging

Not too many folk here at the moment considering it's a Saturday. One young Carribean Guy all dressed in black. His Apple earphones really stand out! An elderly lady reading the newspaper and The Attendant who's ironing. Perhaps folk may have gone away for the weekend as it's another scorcher here in the South East of England with a possibility of 33'C somewhere on the East Coast.

Still can't seem to shake this annoying cough I've had since I came back from SA. The Dr gave me a 7 day course of antibiotics that she said I should only start if my cough didn't get any better within the following seven days. I've been taking them now for two days with no noticeable difference to my coughing attacks but I think I'm having slightly less of them a day. It sometimes feels that during the minute or so coughing spell, I feel like I literally cannot breath for a few seconds. I've never had a ailment like this before but I am a partial asthmatic so perhaps that's what's making the unusual difference this time.

All quiet on the work front as no many Newbies being hired at the moment. Last month I had six to do the week I returned from my holiday. Mostly admin and helping out in the Cash Office right now.

Next weekend it's the annual Lambeth Country Show so I hope the fine weather holds and I can get some good pics of all the sights and varied activities throughout the weekend. LCS has it's own Flickr Group so if any of you out there has any good shots taken there, past or present then I'm sure The Group would love to add them.

Later this evening my next door neighbour is having a party. A rough note was passed through our letter box last weekend notifying and inviting us to the event. I'll have to listen out to what sort of party music starts playing and based on if I like it or not will decide if I pop around and join in. Either way, with the 3rd/4th place play off match in The World Cup at 7:30pm, it should be an entertaining night!
