I love Black Music. It's funny because that was the class I really wished I could have dropped at the beginning of the year. But I was kind of forced to take it for my correlate and grumbled about it. But it's just another example of how I make these hasty decisions and shy away from everything that makes me uncomfortable. I'm like, I can't take black music. I'm such a terrible excuse for a black person; they'll kick me out of the class! Ha ha ah, but it's great and Reid is great and we listen to some kick ass music and get to watch videos and stuff. Stuff to complain about? Next to nothing.
Oh wait, I spoke too soon. Is anyone else reallllly bothered by how fast this semester is going? It's flippin' me for a loop (what SEU?). I don't want to say goodbye to my senior friends. You guys! I don't want to say goodbye to all my friends for a semester. What am I doing? Plopping myself 18 hours away for 5 months? OMG. Although, you wanna know what's really cool? So, I leave on February 5th, but by the time I get to Brisbane for orientation, it'll be the 7th. That's crazy. I LOSE some of my life. But THEN, on the way back, I get to relive 18 hours of my life. Isn't that insane?!? Like, I could royally fuck things up in Sydney, then fly back here and be like la la la! It never happened. That totally blows my mind.
And my life is pretty good, actually. Actually. :-D
