So Jensen may or may not make his first entrance with a dance number. While wearing capris.

Also, his reactions are wacky and so far, def. the best part, though I do like the other characters.

I dunno, there seem to be a lot of wacky little details and actions that are going on in the background. I like them. They’re very…real, somehow. Like this guy just was running back to his little daughter on the beach, and as he’s running he flaps his arms and squawks like a bird. I can entirely see people doing that. I think that’s missing from a lot of movies. I mean, people are wacky. They’re weird. Movies tend to sterilize that, cut it out so all that’s left is a pastel, washed out version of life. They make too much out of the big moments and not enough of the little ones.

“You know what your problem is? You’re stupid.” I kinda like that shirt.

Oh, and now a sleeveless shirt o’ doom. Flex! Flex!

He’s so pissy with Tish (Danneel). I love it. The eye rolls, the “Oh Christ”s…

Oh Christ he just fluttered his eyelashes! Eeee! While acting (faux) flaming.

Priestly is just adorable as a character. Quirky and weird, a little bitchy and a lot sarcastic, and dorky and sweet.

Ok, I like that it’s about 20-somethings figuring out what the hell they’re doing instead of teenagers. Because really? Teenagers may think they know all the answers, but in reality they don’t even know the questions yet. And I’m at that place now and have been for a couple years, actually, where I just don’t know what the fuck I’m doing.

So I liked it. I’m a little disappointed that in the end Priestly changed his look to get the girl. I mean, he has this brilliant rant about how Tish/women are like two year olds, more interested in the wrapping than what’s inside. And it is sweet that he would do that to be with her. I just would have liked it more if they had gotten together without him looking typically Jensen gorgeous.

All in all, it was definitely a movie that I would watch again. I thought it was sweet, and much more enjoyable than many, many mainstream rom-coms I’ve seen in the past.
