Update Post o' Doom

Let's see...
I should be hearing about the job I put in for (for an interview) sometime today or Monday. *fingers crossed b/c I want this job like a mofo*

I went to the doctor today and got an rx for my new happy pills (always good).

My mom came back, so I'm not currently living in a house with my two divorced parents in a room that has no door. (let me repeat: happy pills are good)

Saw Twilight last night at 12:01 wearing a "Team Edward" shirt b/c I'm just that cool. We sat next to a guy who was wearing a Jayne hat and a brown coat that actually said "Browncoat" on it, which was cool. Twilight made me squee. Of course I could sit here and pick it apart, but overall, I liked it. A lot. I believe I will be seeing it again, if I can afford to.

Oh. Em. Ef. Gee.
That ep, you guys. According to my flist so far, I was apparently one of the few to like it. And like it I did. I mean, Dean having sex and crying in the same ep? Seriously? And Titanic moment aside, I liked Anna, I liked Anna and Dean together, and I liked the sex they had in the back of the Impala (which Sam referred to as 'she', btw). Sam is good for hot passionate rip your clothes off right now sex, but Dean is clearly good for the savor the moment make you feel as good as possible treat you like you're the most beautiful woman in the world sex. I think there was a fic somewhere that had Dean almost revere women in bed, and this made that feel so true, like for all his womanizing and porning horniness, when it comes down to it, he really likes women and the pleasure that they can find together.
I'm liking Ruby a bit more, I guess, or at least that she could be trusted not to screw them over. And how when she made the deal she aksed for both of the boys safe and sound.
And Dean, with his "I don't break that easy" and the response and the knowing that they were talking about Sam and knowing that yeah, he does break that easy if you know where to apply pressure. And finally, the scene at the end with Dean's confession of what he did and the fact that he'll never forgive himself (and that Anna knew that and tried to reassure him) and that for Dean, that moment when he traded places in hell was when the true punishment started. And of course Sam being all supportive and sniffly and not pushing Dean.

I kind of want to always refer to Sam as "Grumpy" now.

I liked it. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

twilight, job news, supernatural
