My teenage years have just had the soul forcibly ripped out of them. I just saw a Macy's commercial featuring "Seasons of Love."
For a musical about staying true to yourself and not giving in to the man, it apparently did.
I am unreasonably depressed about this.
Also, I don't get Lady Gaga. I will admit to liking the music (which also makes me kinda depressed because seriously? "Let's have some fun/ this beat is sick/ I wanna take a ride on your disco stick.") I just...I watch the videos, I look at her, and all I can come up with is a profound, heartfelt "huh. k." I'm partly intrigued, but mostly just...huh. k.
