It's been a while
Well, it's been a while since I've updated so I figured that I should spend a little bit of my evening doing this. I got to spend the weekend in Hackensack, MN (Well, I think it was technically outside Hackensack but oh well) at Al's parent's cabin. There were a total of 13 people in a one room cabin...it was interesting. We did a little drinking and card playing and over all it was a very relaxing weekend. On Saturday I got to go ice fishing for the first time ever. Got to sit in an ice house for a few hours with Joey and shoot the shit. It was a lot of fun. I think I'd really like to do a lot of ice fishing in the future. It's really quite simple, all you do is sit there, talk with a buddy and drink beer. It's really right up my alley. Oh, I even caught a few nice Northerns. They weren't keepers but it still was nice to catch some stuff.
The Gophers swept Alaska this weekend and combined with Wisconsin's two losses my team is the WCHA Champs! It's the first time since I've followed college hockey that the Gophers have won the WCHA regular season title. Exciting.
Other than that there isn't too much exciting going on with me. At least nothing I can think of at the moment. I think I'm going to bed now and hopefully I can update more this week when my brain isn't to tired.
