Brain fuzzy. Need to wash my hair. Feeling most blah the last few days. Mayhap it's because of the mad rushing around the last week or so. Maybe it's the weather. Maybe it's PMS.
More and yet more weird intense dreams. Last night's ended with a bunch of us at some Con or other all dressed up as Ash (Army of Darkness Ash). Ok. At least it didn't continue in the people-eating zombie thread.
I became really irritated that someone on this Stargate list I joined on Alexandre's behalf spelled their name "Pheonix" and the next email was rife with unintelligible email speak. Chatroom natter type garbage.
Been thinking much lately and I'm wondering if I want to invite Arwen to my Pampered Chef party the end of the month. There have been several amicable exchanges and unlike Julia I think perhaps she has reconsidered much of what happened during the disaster a couple of years ago. Anyway, I'm thinking about it.
But my thought processes are slow and fuzzy and I still have dishes to do. Messed up the alfredo sauce last night (WHY do I always forget to NOT add lemon juice?) but managed to save it with copious quantities of roux. I thought it was yummy, especially with the shrimp.
Uh, yah. Reading Coma by Robin Cook, which is slightly above brain candy levels. Had to stop the Lovecraft as I'm just not feeling up to more creep factors. Coloured a picture of seahorses for Alexandre yesterday and he was downright amazed that I could colour like that. He said it looks like I printed it off the internet. He didn't get to go to scouts Monday as he had one of those rare moments where he acted like a total ass. After the initial punishment session where both parents basically told him to quit acting like an ass and he spent time alone in his room, he miraculously returned to Normal Boy Mode.
Gag. I feel sooooo thickheaded lately. Dunno exactly why. Think I'll try to pop in a Nickleback cd and see if I can stir my blood up...if I'm not rioted out by the kids. Ooop. Nope, gotta go play Barbies with the girly girl.
Somebody please throw the switch to turn my brain back on, okeydoke?
Oh yeah...Salvation Army took almost all my stuff. Couch, pool, car seat, and a couple other items weren't accepted but I'm hoping the United Way will take it. SA also comes Friday morning to get the car. All in all, I'm happy with the decreasing amount of clutter. Next job: clean up all the boxes that got wet in the greenhouse and prepare to graciously allow the trash guys to take them off my hands tomorrow morning.
Jaz, what's up with mushroomy carpet and my time with your boys?
Alexandre misses Sylvia, too.
