LJ Idol, week 13 - Open Topic
Just isn't gonna happen. I'm taking a bye.
The story is about 1/3 written, it's 7 am and I have until 7 pm. In between that I have work and a hair appointment for my daughter. I *might* get home before 7 pm (CST). If I'm lucky.
I'd like to say life got in the way, but honestly that wasn't it. I got in my own way with poor time management skills and a final project for my class. Work and family obligations just helped. (Not to mention the voices in my head going silent from lack of sleep.)
I've written stories in the breaks and lunch (and in between tasks) at work before. This is not that kind of story, nor do I relish the idea of possibly getting in trouble at work. Not the way things have been going recently. So hopefully another topic will come up that I can use this story for and I can finish it, because honestly, I kinda liked the way it was going until I passed out last night.
*kicks self for not being a better time manager*
