I love you CS Lewis!

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was incredible. Acting, visuals, music, script, all top notch. Definitely buying the soundtrack along with the DVD. They definitely went easy on the blood, though. While I understand they were trying to make it as kid-friendly as they could, it detracted from my suspension of disbelief. Hence the 4.9 out of 5.

"Despite its overarching Christian themes, Narnia delivers an entertaining yarn." -David Foucher, Edge Boston.

Christian themes, Mr. Foucher? Oh, you mean all that stuff about redemption and sacrificial love?. Oh my goodness, Mr. Foucher. I'm so terribly sorry you had to sit through all those morals. Never mind the fact that maybe, just maybe, such things as redemption and sacrificial love matter outside of church, that they might be important to more cultures than just those darn Christians, that maybe, just maybe, such things might be real. Oh, wait... then they'd be some sort of universal truth, which only closed-minded bigots believe in.

Please.

As much as I liked the fourth Harry Potter movie, it bothers me to no end that Narnia was rated lower (at least on rottentomatoes.com).
