Emmanuel Mesthene, Muse of Run-on Sentences, Awkward Syntax and General Incoherence

"In the case where technological change alters the realtive costs of implementing different values, it impinges on inherent contradictions in our value system." -Emmanuel G. Mesthene, in my reading for STS

BLECHHHH! That's a nasty sentence. Since I thought it was too readable (HA!), I ran it through Google Language Tools's translator and back again.

English to Spanish to English: "In the case where the technological change alters to the costs realtive to put diverse values in execution, it affects to inherent contradictions in our system of the value."

Good, but not good enough...

English to French to English: "If the technological change changes the costs realtive to apply various values, it encroaches on inherent contradictions in our system of value."

Getting there...

English to Korean to English: "It executes the value where the scientific technical fringe land is different in the place, inside the box which changes a realtive expense, it in the contradiction which is specific the inside our value systems the impinges."

Aha! Google strikes again!
