#1) shenanigans didn't really go down so much, since no one wanted to play, but whatever, i don't care so much.
#2) room draw actually ended up going pretty well for lots of other people i care about, too, so that rocks. Baja next year is going to be epic. Caro is basically the awesomest frosh ever; I feel as if we will have great fun and occasionally drive the boys crazy. Baja 07/08 shot still hasn't happened.
#3) House = pretty good. not amazing, but glad he's back.
#4) ASS (After School Specials) + JT (Justin Timberlake) = pretty damn amusing. and Dakota sang one of his songs, and it was good. and i miss him, but he'll be back on campus tuesday, which makes me happy. and i got to tell him about my mom freaking out over A.
#5) no beisbol jueves on account of rehearsal, but rehearsal was wicked funny, so it's all good. janet can do the "caterpillar" it is hilarious.
#6) beisbol viernes!!! what a good game. so, apparently if the Dodgers score 10 or more runs and win, everyone who was at that game can get 10 free wings at Hooters. we learned this at the beginning of the game, and were thinking "yeah, right, 10 runs is ridiculous." then the dodgers scored 5 in the first... and went on to win 13-4. there were 46,000+ people at the game. so that's 460,000 chicken wings, which equals 230,000 dead chickens. i don't know why the dead-chicken calculations were so amusing to us, but they were.
Juan Pierre is a damn good hitter. Nomah had a good game. got to see Orlando and Hilly again. and Curtis Pride is back in the majors--can you believe it?
$11 beer... can we talk about this? actually, let's not. the damn beer was more expensive than our tickets.
Cutest. Thing. Ever: "HE HAS ICE CREAM IN A HAT!!!" apparently, they don't do ice-cream-in-a-hat at ballgames in Utah, but the look on this kid's face was priceless. it was also very amusing when he scampered off to obtain ice cream in a hat, and the look of triumph on his face when he returned was just about as adorable as the original amazement at the existance of ice-cream-in-a-hat.
riding shotgun and spacing out on the drive back from LA is way better than actually having to drive, fyi.
#7) again, no ballgame yesterday because the fuckers were sold out. but hanging around south while Pokey played bad pop music from middle school was wicked entertaining.
#8) slinky dress was pretty awesome. though i realised that slinky dress has been a very meh-bad/good-good? night for me the past few years. this year was slightlybetterthanmeh/GOOD! ended up behind the bar off and on for around 3 hours, which is not how i would have chosen to spend my night, but really wasn't all that bad. standing around the bar just chatting with my brother, Curly, and the Farnum at the end of the night was pretty cool. though i was glad when 0100 rolled around, so i no longer felt obligated to guard the bar.
#9) actually didn't get too banged up at broomball. was limping for a little while because of a badly bruised shin, but other than that, just a few small bruises. very amusing moment, though, when someone had managed to get the ball out of a pile, but also managed to get my wrist in his death-grip on the ball, so i got dragged across the ice for a little while.
-1) lighting showing wasn't so bad. quick and easy. back to bed.
#10) no classes, but still had rehearsal for Clare's piece. went well, though, and surprisingly froggy-sex was not painful due to broomball bruises.
#11) opening day tomorrow!!!!
#12) twins came from behind in the 9th with #93 and #94 (baby Gardy). What a good day for Sam!
#13) nearly done with piece for fall concert. just have one little section in the middle to figure out.
#14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27) there are no words.
now if this headache that scared the shit out of me by threatening to turn into a migraine would just go away, life would be nearly perfect.
