people dont know im american from the way i speak french anymore. thats a good sign. my friends have been telling me the past month ive really improved- they say i actually talk now. a french girl said i surprised her because normally americans have trouble with the R's. im feeling better and more confident in my speech, and i have to think about it less. at last, no more "hien?"'s and "je comprend pas"'s after almost everything. finally, im becoming a regular francophone.
