it's what's for dinner
My copy of Nigel Slater's the kitchen diaries arrived today by special delivery (international post from the UK), so we are having his Lemon and Basil Linguine--his entry for 2 May, which is close enough since I've got fresh basil growing on the back porch and a nice chunk of parmesan from Central Market in the fridge. I even had the required lemon on hand. We'll have it with some salmon grilled and left over on Saturday night, which Nigel doesn't authorize, but perhaps that's all right.
