Why didn't anyone tell me about Top Chef Masters?!?
It's Top Chef with established chefs instead of up and coming chefs, and the chefs are playing for charity. This should be interesting and mouth watering all at the same time.
Good thing Bravo repeats episodes like 5 times a week.

First episode was pretty good. It's basically going to be six episodes of facing off between a set of 4 chefs with the winner of each episode moving on to the championship round. With the format like this - there will be less drama between chefs since they won't be living with each other and all, LOL.
The caliber of the competition is pretty darn high. It's totally living up to it's billing showcasing the "masters" and the first elimination challenge is a doozy! The dorm room challenge!
These chefs only had a hot plate, a toaster oven, and a microwave. Their "kitchen" area was a dorm room and the bathroom. The plates that were created as a result? Freaking fancy gourmet dishes! It all looked delicious. Those dishes basically kicked all of that college food's ass. LOL!
Well I'm hooked. Top chef challenges with 5 star chefs! w00t! Although I do miss Tom, Gail, and Padma at Judges Table. There's a new host and a different panel of judges. I do think Gail is suppose to judge during one of the episodes though, and Gail and Tom are present in clips talking about the competitors. YAY!
