McCain spews nonsense... over and over again

Sep 26, 2008 21:59

what the FUCK McCain? Stop being an old grumpy man who needs his diaper changed and his nurse to feed him applesauce. Can you stick on the topic and answer the question please, because I don't give a fuck about your past experiences because no matter how much you talk about them they don't affect what you are going to do in the now and what you might do as president. I'm not even seeing McCain address anything logically sounding good for MANY issues.
On a whole slew of important issues, he's not a maverick or a moderate. (He's pro-war, anti-gay rights, not great on environmental issues, a total idiot on the economy, etc.) Think Bush is awesome? Then you'll love McCain!
If I can quote McCain for a moment "But I also know the toll a lost war takes on an army and a country. It is the right road. It is necessary and just." TO know more about why McCain thinks war is a necessitie <--- visit that site!
At this year's March for Life, he told anti-choicers, "If I am fortunate enough to be elected as the next President of the United States, I pledge to you to be a loyal and unswerving friend of the right to life movement." He also basically compared countries where abortion is not a crime to communist dictatorships.
Can I stress even more on how he thinks when we're paying more than $4 a gallon for gas, McCain wants to spend $1.2 billion on a tax break for Exxon Mobil. He's willing to sacrifice investments in health care, education, energy, an infrastructure to allow for tax breaks for big corporations and wealthy CEOs. He has plans to make zero exceptions for a woman's right to choose -- even in cases of rape, incest, or to protect the life of the mother. OMG YAY?????? He has no plans to protect equal pay for equal work.
And McCain makes me mad enoguh for picking Palin. Palin recently said that the war in Iraq is "God's task."(God? omg really? patchouli?? Never!)She's even admitted she hasn't thought about the war much- just last year she was quoted saying, "I've been so focused on state government, I haven't really focused much on the war in Iraq." Palin doesn't believe that humans contribute to global warming. Speaking about climate change, she said, "I'm not one though who would attribute it to being manmade." To continuuuuue on the strict family ways Palin opposes comprehensive sex-ed in public schools. She's said she will only support abstinence-only approaches. (Is this why her daughter is pregnant?)

Look, I'll be honest. When Barack Obama first announced his candidacy for president, I was a bit skeptical. He seemed a bit green to me. He hadn't been involved in national politics very long, and while I loved his speech at the 2004 convention, I thought perhaps he needed some seasoning. But than I started listening to what he was saying, and since I'm sick enough of what even goes on with this country it looked like in time even if Obama can seem about the place, he has ideas that WORK. Barack Obama is constantly talking to people about hope, and of a government that listened to people and made their lives better. He has talked about the poor, talked about the sick, and talked about using diplomacy in our dealings with others, rather than either military force or force of will. This isn't just an agent of change, folks; this is a movement. This guy says exactly what people are thinking, even if they deny it themselves, and he's able to communicate in a way that we haven't seen from a politician in quite some time. If you want to know why he beat Hillary Clinton, the answer is actually quite simple; he speaks to us as if we're adults, and we can understand things. Obama's campaign is actually changing those, and for the better.

And don't give me the 'no experience' bullshit. Experience is not a valid argument against Obama. Ronald Reagan, one of the great American presidents of our time, was an actor before he ran for president. No experience; however, he has gone down in history as a great leader. So experience is irrelevant.
People have called Obama a liar. Liar? That would only come from the mouth of a McCain supporter or McCain himself, who has consistently twisted the truth and spread lies throughout his campaign.
I will quote-
"1. McCain said in an ad that Obama wasn't a family man because his half brother was living in a shack. Obama has never met his half brother. And his brother lives in a very nice shack...for someone who lives in AFRICA!
2. I'm sure You're aware of the lipstick controversy in which Obama, referring to McCain's economic policy stated, "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig." Meaning that you can doll it up, but it's still what it is. McCain decides to run and say that Obama was referring and Sarah Palin as a pig. The lie is so huge, that even the REPUBLICANS are saying that this is ridiculous.
3. McCain accused Romney of telling an interviewer in April 2007 that he favored a secret timetable for withdrawal of troops from Iraq. In fact, Romney said the United States & the Iraqi president should discuss the possibility of private milestones & timetables for Iraq.
4. McCain accused Romney of changing his position on important issues; however, after the DNC, McCain has suddenly become the candidate of change" Hypocritical?

And what....REALLY gets to me. No matter how you slice it, dice it, or doll it up, making less than 5 million a year HARDLY covers the middle class. In fact, it isn't even close! The truth still remains that McCain made the statement that. 5 million is not middle class, that's the truth. That doesn't require any twisting to realize. McCain has made the statement about 5 million dollar middle class multiple times, not just once.

P.S. In a recent speech, he said 'I will veto every beer' instead of every bill. We, Americans, need our beer. Get it right, McCain. You suck!

If you're watching the debate tonight you can see what a mean, and repetative person McCain is. Obama is the people person- god forbid the president has a heart and connect and be a nice guy. Comments open cause I don't give a crap cause I hate how this country is won and don't want another nasty republican with no clue about the US people in office.

woops. ヽ( ̄ー ̄ )ノ

P.S. whoever you vote for is your choice, i still love everyone on my F-List i'm just a girl sick in this country with no health insurance cause omg it's costs too much hur hur yay 425 bucks for 20 days worth of pills
