What a day
Well I had a good day today, despite myself being invalid without a car. My car is trying to be the first mexican jumping mobile and therefore violently shakes between 45 and 55 mph. I swear, I keep checking around the car as I'm driving waiting for pieces to start falling off. My dad has it narrowed down to seriously bad allignment and a park break defect. So needless to say, I can't use my car until it gets completely realligned. You never realize how much you depend on a car in this area until you don't have one anymore...
So Ginger picks me up today and we go to her doctor's appointment. There, she learns that she's basically a criple for now thanks to her job and can't even clean the house due to her back. From there, we went off to Walmart where I proceeded to buy two yards of My Little Pony fleece fabric that Ginger will eventually turn into a blanket for me. We then returned to Ginger's house for lunch where she spent over an hour calling around to different specialists and her lawyer for her back. I get home and shortly afterwards start making dinner for the family. No sooner had I thrown the stuff on the stove when Ginger calls and invites me out to Dennys with her, Renee, Andrew, and Ashley, people I have not seen since High School. I figure, why the hell not? I move back into WAC on saturday and won't get another chance to see them. Plus, I wanted to see Renee again, my best friend from the pre-college years, cuz we lost touch when I went away to school. We had a good time at Dennys and then the Outlets, just knocking around.
Ginger certainly had fun there! She stole crayons from Dennys and then the nylon footie things from Aigner. She then treated us all to showers of crayons and footies on the sidewalks. She even passed out crayons to random people. It was great fun! I'll be surprised if they'll let us back anytime soon. Though I have to go back. I work there....
