Late night rambles

Well, since I've successfully managed to deeply offend two people with journal entries (without intending to!) I'll be sure to watch what I post now...

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is so awesome!!! I was so worried after the fifth book that the whole series was going downhill, like so many other series that I have read. However, I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with the newest book! I have to reread it again after my brother finishes to see if this book tops the fourth one, which is my current favorite. Its already coming close in second place. If you have not read the book yet and intend to, I'd stop reading now. I'm so upset that she killed Dumbledore! I understand why she did, Harry could not be protected by him forever. Plus, there had to be some sort of sacrifice for Harry to act. But still, I liked Dumbledore! She says more people, important characters, will die in the seventh book. I'm worried... I have a sneaky feeling that one of the Weasly's is going to die... I hope not, especially if its Ginny! I was so happy for Harry when he and Ginny got together and then I was so upset when Harry told her he couldn't see her anymore. I understand why, he's protecting her. But still, he's suffered so much: losing his parents, neglect by the Dursley's, losing Sirius after only knowing him like a year, watching Cedric die, and now Dumbledore. I would like to see Harry come out of all this ALIVE and able to start a life with Ginny. I don't see her killing Ron or Hermione. Neville maybe. Mr. Weasly, I can see it. Snape, a BIG maybe! Speaking of Snape... If anyone else has finshed the book, tell me what you think of my theory. I think Snape killed Dumbledore on Dumbledore's orders. I think Dumbledore told Snape to kill him in order to keep his cover if the need should arrise. I thought it was odd Snape would not allow Harry to use the unforgivable curses and did not stay to kill Harry. If he was going to take the trouble to kill Dumbledore, he would have done Harry as well instead of running. I think he's going to die saving Harry in the end. Malfoy too, I think he'll come back to the good side. Oooooo, I can't wait for the seventh book! The story is thick now and I really want to see how she ends it! I know she said she was only going to do seven books but I think she might have to do another one so we can see Harry after Hogwarts and what he became...

Yes, I am a HUGE pothead! ;-)
