Another week gone...
Time flies...except I'm not having fun.
This past week was insane, what with concerts and after school whatevers. I suppose I do it to myself; the real question is why. I mean, I do enjoy it. I loved Teacher Recruitment Night and I loved the chorus concert. I just don't enjoy the amount of time it takes away from my life.
For instance, I spent Friday night at Dodgeball, from 6-10 pm in the gym, getting yelled at for "making bad calls." Yes, perhaps they were bad; my vision, after all, is definitely not 20/20, but I thought we agreed that all calls are FINAL?? Is that somehow incomprehensible?? I mean, it was a great tournament; so much fun, and yet, so frustrating at the same time.
By the way, congrats to the winning team, Crank up the Diesel. Championship game was very exciting.
After that, things just went downhill...
I spent the whole weekend doing that stupid AP research paper that no one knows how to do. Don't even know if I did it right. I'm just happy that it's done, and all I have to do is change a few things - I refuse to rewrite the entire 6 pages. Meuller better not tell me that I don't have a good thesis, because it's definitely there - maybe not where it's supposed to be, but it's there.
And just when I thought my life has reached rock bottom, I remembered that 1st period seminar-ish thingamajigee with Mr. Whatshisface for orchestra. Great start to a great week, huh?
On the plus side, I finally figured out where I'm going to college.
