It had been exactly one month and four days that Junho had planned out what to wear, what to say, and all the logistics of the confession that was going to take place.
Exactly three pieces of Crown brand caramel squares were in his pocket. Junho hoped they wouldn't get squished or melt. He was especially careful not to let Chansung or Wooyoung see them. Taecyeon was enthusiastic.
"Just be your normal charming self!" Taecyeon cried, slapping Junho on the back.
It was what Junho was afraid of. He tended to react like a shifty eyed burberry man when he was nervous, flicking his eyes on anything but the subject and fisting his clothes jerkily to rid his palms of sweat. He focused on channeling Nichkhun's charming ways.
It was already fifteen before the planned time. The manager for Girls' Generation had told him discreetly that Jessica would be arriving for an interview.
Junho paced, running through his lines over and over. He had never been that good of an actor, but he wasn't planning on pretending right now. All he had to do was express what had been in his chest since he had first laid eyes on the girl. At the remembrance, he wiped his hands on his slacks and softly cursed when dark streaks appeared on the front side of his thighs.
It was right when Junho was looking down at his pants that the click-clack of high heels resounded throughout the tiled hallway.
It was spectacular timing.
Junho looked up. He was the splitting image of someone caught red handed. And Jessica looked as pretty as a picture with her blonde coiffure making a glowing halo around her as she rounded the corner.
Both were startled. But after a quick once over, Jessica burst into laugher.
She was exactly eleven minutes early and Junho felt the little caramel blocks sagging inside of his pockets.

Five days later, Junsu and Taecyeon caught Junho and Jessica holding hands during the break of a program they were on together.
Teasing in a proud 'older brother' type way, Taecyeon asked how Junho was able to win Jessica over.
Junho's hands started to sweat again, reliving the moment.
"I didn't" Junho said simply. "She confessed first."
Junsu and Taecyeon stood open mouthed in awe while Junho continued.
"She said that she had always thought I was cute. Then she asked me out for coffee. And I gave her three soggy pieces of caramel... And the rest..." Junho said, grinning the widest he had in days, "is history."
Rummaging his pockets, Junho fished out a piece of caramel. Unwrapping it, he popped the confection in his mouth while his hyungs were still slack jawed.
"Here", Junho said, tossing Junsu two caramel pieces from his other pocket. "...compliments of Jessica."
With that, Junho winked, walking off to smile at his requited crush some more.
