Holy crap, an internal sound card that isn't from the 90's!
Unfortunately, the x-meridian isn't available right now. Perhaps they're going to refresh it with connectors similar to the home theater card.
PCIe 3.0 x1 is going to handle 1GB/sec data rates. No reason I can't have 5 192kHz stereo inputs and outputs in a year. :3
Edit: Xonar HDAV1.3 Deluxe doesn't look too awful either. But the lack of a front audio panel or break-out box would certainly annoy me. Must have twistyknobs for headphones. Maybe it's time to give up on elaborate PC sound and use the PC only as an input device. Get a nice component audio rig going...
