What, my summer's over already?
So last weekend I had an awesome time out of town. And it was the start of my summer vacation. On Saturday, we spent two hrs driving up to Cheney in hopes of getting our apartment opened for us and everything to run smoothly. But, the caregiver was trying to tell us he ran out of forms, he'd have to reschedule and all of these excuses. I basically told him that we came all the way from the Tri-Cities, so eventually, he came over and moved us in. We didn't get the key the first day and it sucked, but we got it on Sunday. The water smelled really bad, it's weird because I let it run and it didn't go away. Anyways, Laura stopped by and I got to go see Laura and Niki's living room, dining room, puzzle (i suck at those), and kitchen. Niki was sleeping. Anyways, I headed back and we had lunch (my dad arrived by then) and I realized i needed to buy a bed skirt. So, I'll bring it up the next time I go up there. So, we unpacked, etc and decided to leave for Spokane. We went to Manito Park, Northtown, CHili's and the movies to watch Step Up. Channing was hot as usual, especially in uniform (janitor uniform..that is). Anyways, we came back to the apartment and didn't go to sleep until 2:30....i fell asleep at 5 until 7:30 or so and got up. We left to go eat and get our key and went back to Spokane to show the adults the garden. Then I went to drop off my cousin and headed back home. It took us two hrs and a half to get back because of the roads being fixed in spokane and rest stops. But we made it home and it was good to just relax.
As excited as I was for my vacation to start, I didn't realize that yesterday was Wednesday. I kept thinking it was Tuesday and arguing with my sister about it. Stupid me. Anyways, I didn't even realize that my aunt was in Las Vegas until yesterday either. Today, I'm picking her up at the airport.
What else did I realize??? My sister is starting school next week! And who has to wake up early to drop her off? Who else, but me! So, my vacation is short lived and filled with waking up early and dropping her off and picking peppers. Oh well. At least I don't start class until 11 next quarter. A little sleep.
