Band Practice...
So far so good. We had a very productive band practice tonight. We nailed 5 or so songs that we've been working on and added a very, very cool touch to Just Like Heaven. One my bandmates, Roy, got a professional grade Shure mike which is really a joy to work with because I can hear myself louder and clearer than I have been able to in the past. It's just neat when 6 people are synchronized and doin' their thing and making music. This is the practice I really wish Lu could have seen. He got to see some of our stuff in progress but without our drummer and second guitarist, so it was kind of a rough cut. Regardless, I'm glad he got to see us perform. I can't wait to get on stage again sometime soon. Should be cool. I think I can die fulfilled knowing that I've performed at least once. It was on my list of the 100 things I'd like to do before I die. It's scary and a test of your resolve, but if you can do it, there's nothing like it in the world.
