What does "Solamen miseris, socios habuisse doloris." mean? Oh and thumbs up to anyone who can tell me the famous play it comes from.

it is a comfort to those in misery (or unfortunate) to have companions in woe (or sorrow)
and it is from marriage of wit and wisdom :)
