Personally, I like your alternate better. The mirrored head tilts (and areas of overexposure from their respective P-90 lights) really work together well, as does moving John to the right just that little bit. Never thought I'd see the day when I'd recommend taking Ronon out of an icon, but there you have it. :)

Trust me to make the alternate *after* the voting! ;) And I think you're right about the better composition of the mirrored head tilts. It's all less jammed in.

I think I agree with freneticfloetry, I like the alternate better too. But I completely admire the complexity of both icons. I love how you blended the images together!

I think I'm going to have to be another person who likes the alternate more. I like your submitted entry too but I think Ronon makes it too chaotic.
