- The sky texture looks quite out of place + the blue is too strong against his colouring, his edges are also a little sharp.
- a depth of field is lacking here....the clouds of the replaced background shouldn't be as sharp as the subject is since they are much further away from the viewer.
- a little overbrightened and John's image isn't merged to the backgound (ie the edges are too sharp)
- nice sharp clear image, love the background clouds as well.
- [the cropping around sheppard is perfect and the background really helps lighten up the his face]
- The manipulation is too obvious, John's too tall in relation to the far shot background.
- John is out of proportion; it's very clear that the background doesn't belong in the image.

I'm sorry to see anyone go, all those icons were just amazing! And I'm sorry I wasn't around to vote, this summer hasn't been the best for me being around a working computer.

But I'd liked comments for #1, thanks, unscreened is fine :)

- beautiful crop, enhancing one of men's most unstated sexy bits. Nice bload colouring without being too yellow.
- great color wih a soft feeling
- Gorgeous, gorgeous cropping and colouring.
- the crop is exceptional and the coloring well done
- Image is a little too light, not enough contrast
- lovely coloring, lovely crop.
- interesting crop and colour, but I feel there's too much focus on his neck; perhaps a hint of eyes would have fixed this?

- wonderful background replacement; amazing colours.
- I love the coloring, the light behind Ronon, and Ronon himself is very distinct and bright.
- [the cropping around ronon is perfect and the green texture background is the perfect contrast, pulling the icon together]
- nice crop and use of negative space
- great work on the background texture and image placement.
- lovely contrast and background makes Ronon pop out
- stunning composition! great choice of colours/texture.
