Hive Mind Plot
Okay.
So.
Here's the deal.
Teyla asked Sheppard to speak to Woolsey and ask if maybe Michael could be given sanctuary on Atlantis, saving everyone the eternal grief of Carson's mind-meld suggestion.
I know that Jen wants to talk to Teyla, and I'm sure that McKay would need to have a tense and barely friendly chat with his favourite Athosian at some point on the whole subject. In regards to that, I was originally going to say that Teyla was still on New Athos, hanging with Mikey until a solution had been decided on.
Instead of keeping it that way, I suggested to Spoo and Jag that Teyla would return to talk to Woolsey about the Mike-Sanctuary thing, since she figures that Sheppard either a) didn't get the chance, or b) didn't get far in the asking before being shot down and wants to try to ask Woolsey herself.
During the meeting, the symptoms would hit her harder and faster, causing her to pass out. Once in the infirmary, she'd wake up crazy-insane - like Ford was, only a bit worse - and wanting to get to back to Michael. There may be nurse-whumpage, as they try to stop her. They may very well need to stun her or something and then toss her in a holding cell or something.
Michael, dear boyfriend that he is, senses Teyla's meltdown and - unable to make it through the 'gate without an IDC - hijacks a Traveler's ship and heads to Atlantis to save Teyla from permanent insanity.
And then we'd go from there....
