DC announced their next animated movie for after Green Lantern: First Flight, and it's Superman/Batman: Public Enemies, based off the tpb of course. It's the one where President Lex thinks (and thus everyone thinks) that Superman somehow made a collision course between a giant Kryptonite meteor and Earth. It makes no sense, is generally shitty, and I hated it. (I talked about one aspect, the most troublesome [to me anyway], of it a while ago). At least it's not as cracktastic as the later S/B issues, like the arc with the Legion of Super-Villains as Superman and Batman's parents, or the one with the half-Superman, half-Batman rocket.
Basically, there are better stories they could pick - why not a Flash movie? JLU Flash has a HUGE online following. Or Brave and the Bold Aquaman? Aaah, that's asking too much methinks. I've been enjoying these animated movies, I started Wonder Woman last night, and I adore The New Frontier, and I don't consider Gotham Knight to be in the same category and Superman/Doomsday was, well, bad. But they could really do some new characters.
