Ich hab' ein Pferd!

Yeah so I got up around 4.20 and ate breakfast and zipped over to Judy's and took Kash out into the field and got to watch him run. Man that horse moves! *Happy sighing here.* He raced up and down the field several times, slipped once on the shaving that are under the shade, but didn't hurt himself any, he slowed up sooner after that. We put Nikki and Glory out first. They went over and looked at him, sniffed, trotted around with their tails up so high they curled them over their backs and retreated back to the gravel spot near the gate. They did this several times. Poor Kash, all alone by the fence with the girls hovering by their gate on the other side. Spirit went out next, she checked him out and then retreated as well to the gravel and dirt on the other side far removed from poor Kash's fence. Then Thunder went out. I was a little apprehensive at how Thunder would react to Kash, as he is a rather large gelding even if he is only two. Amazingly enough, they got along fine. Spirit, Nikki, and Glory however stayed near the gate. Thunder and Kash ran up and down along the fence seperating the two pastures. Then Sweety went out. Everyone moved away from the gate and Sweety herded all of the girls over to the corner of the field closest to the barn, but farthest from Kash. For some odd reason she let Thunder stay by Kash. She kept an eye on Kash, though. Went over a couple of times to get a closer look at him. Nikki went over to take another look at Kash and Sweety chased her back to the other horses.

I stayed out there for about two hours or so until Kash settled down and started grazing, Thunder still near him and all the other five horses huddled, grazing in the corner. What a sight to see.

Came home and took about an hour nap, will probably nap again later. Need to work on art today, yes.

Must be off to go pick up Matt.
