I think I'm done with the portrait of Brigg.

The pair together.

I'm going to let it sit overnight and decide if it is ready to really call done and then scan it. These are Wendy's junior and senior herd stallions, now I start working through the mares, which I believe she has eight of.

Today all the horses got worked except for Zeke. I felt quite accomplished. I rode Jasper and Talon and Chewy, Kash, Kitt, and Tru-D were used for lessons. I also worked with Moo/Artemis this morning who is working through her issues with the pipe and Jerry was a rockstar pulling the false shafts.

We had the vet scheduled for spring shots, but he ws worried about the heat affecting the vaccines so we rescheduled for Wednesday at 6am. Should have no problems with the heat then! I'll need to reschedule Ardberg though, but since Robin won't be available Friday morning I can schedule him then. It works out.

I think I failed to mention Ben and Jerry the Haflinger team finally came in for training. They were postponed due to my mole exorcism, but a month later they are here! I drove up there and got them. Lisa was mortified I had been taking the "wrong" way that included a bumpy dirt road and a steep gravel wash and hill that I had to back up and try a second time because I was too cautious the first time and there wasn't enough traction and, well, the truck doesn't have four wheel drive. The "right" way was completely paved and had only one mild dip. She was wondering why I might be freaking out about hauling my big truck and long trailer through the shallow littke dip. Haaaaaa... Anyway, it was all good. I dropped by Gene's to get my two whips that he repaired back finally.

Speaking of the mole exorcism I'm back to full mobility. I have been wearing the girdle/spanx still to give support to the area and I'm debating if I should wear it this coming week or not as it isn't quite fully closed around three of the lower stitches. One did finally dissolve itself into oblivion, but two more are still slightly visible. As obnoxious as it is (how do women wear these things all the time?!) I may error on the side of paranoid and wear it until it wears out. Some of the stitching on it is already starting to split. I imagine they aren't designed to wear 12+ hours a day while being athletic. I'll be glad to toss the thing when it has served its full purpose. I may just wear it Wednesday for my ride on Ludo who is a big mover!
