Chroi arrived Tuesday night. I thought was going to be Wednesday, but it was all good!

I found a nail as I was cleaning out her feet yesterday. She was walked out fine, but I put in a call to the vet before I even put her foot down.

I came upon it as a teen who was feeling like I had a whole lot more in common with animals over other people. It's still a good one years later.

I enjoy it as a refutation of the idea that mankind's "dominion" over animals should be construed as "doing whatever we want" with animals and all those wonderful lives humans share Earth with.

Indeed! Stewarts of the Earth should take care of it and help it last longer and be better than it would be left to it's own devices, not suck whatever use at whatever cost out of it, leaving a shriveled up useless husk in the wake.
