Taking this French one and two is kicking my butt into shape. I’ve not spent so much time on a class in… well ever I think. So I’ve been going to bed very late and getting up very early.
For example, this morning I got up at five had breakfast with my dad studied for an hour packed up and got in my car WHICH HAD NO RADIO!!!! In alarm I look around, maybe in hopes of finding the missing radio, but I locate the BROKEN WINDOW of my backseat, along with the SHATTERED GLASS which is now a passenger of my car. I turn my attention back where the radio/cd player once lived, home now only to colorful wires and my eternal bitterness.
Maybe I feel so violated if it wasn’t in the driveway of my parent’s house. I’ve been in far worse places with my car and my radio lived through them. It’s hot here in Texas and my cold air is going right out my broken window. The kicker, though, is that I might have been awake while they were taking it, studying for the test I was completely distracted for this morning. It’s not that I hold it in such high regard as my car radio. It’s that it happened at my home vs. all the other crappy places I spend my time.
I don’t think they were white or middle class because they left the case for the new coldplay cd in my front seat. The actual cd was in the radio at the time of abduction, so it’s gone. They left my big cd case which had many new one’s in it. (For which I am thankful) They also left my last paycheck that I keep in my glove compartment. (They saw it though. It was in my front seat.) They got my brother’s car too. But his entire window was on the ground and they took down the back seat looking for an amp. They also left his driver side door open all night. Not open open just cracked open enough to have drained the battery.
I hate this.
