UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi walks a gauntlet of silent protesters as she leaves her building after a press conference yesterday. Katehi was the person who told the police to remove the protesters from the campus quad, resulting in that horrific pepper-spraying incident.
Now that is power. And restraint.
On a lighter note -- or maybe not -- I kept watching that video, thinking that it seemed familiar, and then I realized what it was. It reminds me of the last scene of Hitchcock's The Birds. ;)
