i've been thinking about kent state, too. i was a freshman at IU that year, and it hit us hard, right in the next state over. crosby, stills, nash & young keep singing in my head, with all these news photos, and i wonder when someone will get shot.

I hope its not a case of "when" but "If". The new stuff coming out of NYC about plain-cloth police intimidating ministers who have opened their church to some of the occupy protesters is really scary.

Yeah, I heard about that. They said they were looking for the bathroom. *eyeroll forever* I don't know, hon -- it's looking more and more like "when" and not "if", unless somebody steps in. :/

Yeah, "Ohio" is on a constant loop in my head. I was in high school when that went down, and it scared the hell out of me. My mother, a life-long Republican, left the party that year and never went back. Bastards are taking us there again, God DAMN.
