Star Trek Beyond: Not just an actualfax Star Trek movie, but a GOOD actualfax Star Trek movie. *thumbs up*
Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency (the new one with Elijah Wood): LOVING THIS SHOW SO MUCH. This is just beautiful, beautiful crack. I can only aspire to this kind of level of crack. *is not worthy*
Labyrinth (rewatch): I don't think I ever realized how not-great this movie actually is, on its merits as a movie. It's a fun time, but wow, it's a fun bad movie. I don't think I ever realized that before.
The Usual Suspects (rewatch): I just feel that I should mention that I've watched this three times since the election. I cope in strange ways. I even had a very vivid dream in which I was writing a fic for it and then when I woke up, I was trying to figure out where I was going with it. It's a shame I can't hook my dreams up to Scrivener to write things for me. (In my defense[?], one of the rewatches was solely because I saw a thing that said that Verbal holds his cigarette differently depending on if anyone is looking at him, so clearly[?] I had to rewatch just to check if that was true.) (IT IS TRUE! KEVIN SPACEY IS SO GOOD!)
There might be others that I've forgotten. This is not including the things I got five minutes into and Could Not Handle, like Nightcap, which I got a few minutes into and went "this is 30 Rock, if I wanted to watch 30 Rock, I'd watch 30 Rock" and was done.
