The fandom for this is a Yiddish-language production of Fiddler On The Roof, which I've never seen, but have wanted to since I heard of it, because it sounded cool and also like it might fix my problems with Fiddler On The Roof. (Erm. I have no real problems with Fiddler On The Roof itself? Just with stuff surrounding it.)
This is an excellent exploration of everything the tags say it is. It's also beautifully written with a narrative voice that is so real. That narrative voice belongs to Shprintze, one of the younger girls in the family, which I love, because I was always very interested in them, so it was great to see this.
This was so great to read, I loved every moment of it. And also I guessed pretty quickly who wrote it, which is just part of the Yuletide fun. ;)
