While investigating the disappearance of his mother and trying to avoid the attention of the Black Cloaked Envoy, 17 year old Zhao Yunlan tracks down Shen Wei working in an antique bookstore in the hopes of getting answers to questions about a mysterious inscription in several books his mother left behind.
This fic was posted last October and last updated in February. It is so good. It's exactly what it says on the tin and has a really great worldbuilding on ZYL, his life, and his family. The Kunlun stuff is fantastic and I really like Ye Zun in this.
