Give a hoot, don't pollute; or, B99 6x01

I reflected, as I was about to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine 6x01 that I actually had complete faith and trust in the show that when they write Gina off, they won't kill her. Instead, they'll do something like have her swan off wearing giant sunglasses and saying "later, losers, I'm going to become a professional dancer slash jazzercise Instagram celebrity" and everyone will shrug, say "seems legit" and throw her a goodbye party. Like, I have no stress on this at all. I have faith in a show not to fuck up the departure of a female character.

That's goddamn rare, that's what it is. Good job, showrunners.

(although let's be fair, if she gets fired and looks dramatically into the camera and says "is it because I'm a lesbian?", the show would manage to make that the funniest scene ever on television.)

Anyway, episode 6x01 was great, very strong start to the season, welcome back b99 :D You are not forgiven for the way you did Jake and Amy's wedding, but we have moved beyond that and into enjoyment of Holt's shirts.
