Wonkette: humorous US politics blog that helps me maintain sanity. Even on days I can't handle the news, I can usually handle wonkette! (And if I can't, and am just skimming headlines, that's a serious sign.)
Ask A Manager: US-centric work advice blog. Generally a good comments section but, uh, sometimes don't touch it.
