I am working my way through Persuasion by Jane Austen and keep being distracted by how many people there are named Charles. So far there have been three (3) people named Charles in a room together at one time, and if the elder Mr. Musgrove is also a Charles -- which seems likely based on the family naming conventions so far -- we may reach four Charleses in one room before too long.
idk, I just feel like Jane Austen is making life needlessly hard for herself.
