What a hell of a week
This week was fucking insane. Things are still good but I thought I might go crazy this week.
This was the last burst of recruitment for us, which I'm very tired of by this point. The beginning two days of the week was marked by two 5 hour shifts at York, which were both really busy and generally shitty. I then proceeded to get sick on Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday we had 4 things we needed to do as a chapter, the biggest two being a talent show and a faculty/staff reception for university bigwigs at the house. I thought I was going to die after that, and in fact half-passed out on my bed at nine (unfortunately I was somewhat conscious the whole time and it felt like a lifetime). Greek week was this week and added another layer of busyness on top of everything that was going on. I had a few tests this week as well.
And I've decided I don't really like the girl I've been seeing, but I haven't told her yet. To complicate things, the Greek social was last night at Ushuaia's, and a girl in a sorority i've been having lunch with somewhat often lately ran into me yesterday and made me go. We went and danced for the whole night and got pretty good vibes from that. So I like somebody else but I don't know if that's ever going to go anywhere and a sure shot I have I don't like anymore.
Oh hey it's the first of the month today too, so I get to start collecting (that is, prying with all my might from the cheap/greedy/lazy/bitchy fingers) dues and rent money from my brothers. AGAIN. I really haven't even finished September yet and the books are still fucked from the previous two treasurers. Fuck yeah, the fun never ends.
