To prove my geekly worth...
So, just so everyone knows... My poor IBM Laptop finally blew-up. Good news is: I still have a month and a half left on the Warrenty!!!! Yea for 3 year warrenties. So its on its way to good old IBM (yes, good because my warrenty is still in place!) and I find myself doing everything on my old Dell Desktop that until recently was collecting dust.
Oh, and I'm using Ubuntu.
That's right, I'm using a linux desktop clone for everything right now! Its almost cool... I mean I've used command line linux for years, but to use a full desktop/workstation... I could never bring myself to do it because of one program: QuickBooks.
So, needless to say, I'm not doing anything in QuickBooks right now (go taxes... NOT). And of course if you haven't heard from me on Skipe or MSN, you now know why. Instead e-mail me at the GMail account, I'll get back to you ASAP.
Anyway, while using Ubuntu does a great deal to prove my geekly worth, its not all this last week. Two days after my IBM bit the dust, so did my poor PlayStation2. But.... It had 2 weeks left on its one year warrenty! OMG I love warrenties all of the sudden. New PS2 in the mail oh yeah!
But this my friends is where the story goes from comedy to horror... I was at Barnes and Nobel looking for a normal every day book, mainly because my DVD/Game Entertainment was shot, and I don't have any games on this backup computer right now. So I'm waiting for my next fix of Ouran High School Host Club, checking out the printed materials, and what do I find in the printed manga section??? The first two books of Ouran High School Host Club the manga! So I pick them up, take them home, and read them in one night...

I feel so dirty.
