Top Ten Reasons to Love Texas

I'm really disappointed that lj just deleted this post. Still, I didn't forget it! How could I forget all the reasons for Why I Love Texas?

1. #1 - Tex-Mex
2. #2 - Friendly, genuinely nice people
3. #3 - Family and friends live here
4. #4 - Tex-Mex
5. #5 ^ The beautiful texas hill country
6. #6 - Wildflowers down both sides of the highway
7. #7 - Everything is cheap.. so cheap
8. #8 - The silly cowboy culture
9. #9 - Oh, and Tex-Mex
10. #10 - Waking up on a ridiculously comfortable bed... to TEX-MEX
     

I could make one for Japan, too, but that would be slightly irrelevant as right now I'm in Texas and so not about the drama that will naturally surface if I think about Japan too much. I'm pretty much just pleased to have nothing to do right now but enjoy the yellow flowers on the breakfast table and the rug at my feet.
