I stand here all night and day
I wish and wish for clouds; I wish for rain
For there isn't anything quite like the flow
Of the liquid that falls from the heavens to below
It seems to me that there’s a drought
The water stopped and there’s no way out
Of this desert of a land
As far as can see there’s nothing but sand
My waterfall has gone to shame
accompanied by my arrogance and fame
Without water in my waterfall I don’t have much luck
I’m feeling defenseless, like a sitting duck
I need my water back so that I may once again swim
I hate having my resources feeling so slim
The waterfall is now at it’s end
This means my money’s all gone my dear friend
No more fancy dinners or designer cars
No more vast popularity or solid gold bars
Now I’m the one who wants to be hired
No more telling anyone that they are fired
