The Return
I AM BACK. BEING BACK IS AWESOME AND HORRIBLE SIMULTANEOUSLY.
I was going to reply to everyone's comments on the last post, but felt I'd be repeating to everyone the same thing and I'm super awkward at that so. For anyone following, this is a mass reply to the last entry with a quick update on my AMAZINGLY EXCITING life. (Caps = Sarcasm, just there) Also; information on Christmas fic. And some questions.
My grandfather is okay. We had a really, super bad run of it in the hospital, but he's back home with the help of full time shift care of me and my mom. It's hard work, but he's happier at home than anywhere else. He's on inhalers and oxygen, and he's still stubborn as anything, but he's got a touch of dementia and this is not cool.
AUSTRALIA WAS AMAZING. I am back to my dark tan and feeling far happier with that, with a shitload of goodies I got myself for Christmas ;) I was up at the Sunshine Coast for two weeks, opposite Alex Surf club, for any of you that were curious.
MY LAPTOP IS DEAD. The CPU is conking out and the speakers are fucked, so I've had to move all 200GB of my files to a hard drive to store on the home computer. Which leads me to this:
Last year I started writing The Bakery Fic. A Damon/Elena central AU, wherein life revolved around Damon's coffee shop and his hate for Christmas. There was caramel slice. Some of you might remember. My mission this year was to finish it for Christmas and give it to you guys. I'm two parts away from finishing. I now have no laptop, and my home computer won't open the file due to technical difficulties, or some other crap. Ergo, it is highly doubtful I will be able to complete it. WHICH IS FRUSTRATING, BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN LIKE, A YEAR, AND I FINALLY GOT MOTIVATION TO FINISH IT AND NOW I CAN'T. Life is hard, guys.
Christmas is in a week or so - anything interesting for you all happening? Anyone under that mistletoe this year? ;) Yes, I'm a pervy pervert. I like to know these things.
