damon/elena fic.
I'm just going to be a whiny bitch here, and complain about how I want some different Damon/Elena fic. I mean, I love what we've got, but, due to the perimeters of the show it is mostly always show based - vampirism. (Well, obviously.) Which I love, don't get me wrong, because unf. I love those vamps like, this---------------------------------------------------------much. I just, I think I'm complaining more about the restrictions. I mean, coming from bandom where, well. anything went, tvd is quite tame in respect to outlandish ideas. Hell, I've just finished re-reading mermaid!au fic from that direction. bandom was about real people, so you could put them into completely strange and weird and mythical situations and it was all good, but tvd is based on vampires; the characters are cemented. I don't even know what I'm saying any more. Do I even make sense? Probably not.
