Today was... *shakes head*

So last night something horrible happened: I spilled water on my laptop. On the keyboard, to be exact. So I immediately shut it off (it was doing it on its own, but I made it turn off faster) and then called Joe in. We unscrewed it, pulled out the keyboard and dried everything off. Then we closed it, pushed on and it ran perfectly. Which was a HUGE relief for me.

I shut it off yesterday to let it thoroughly dry. THOROUGHLY. So today, I woke up, pushed on and it worked. Everything was fine, up until at some point a blue screen came on and said "please push the restart button because we need to reconfigure the boot drive." Me: *BLINK BLINK DOES WHAT IS TOLD*

Computer: *rumble rumble, comes up with the following message*: Operating system not found.

Me: *CURSE CURSE* JOOOOOOE

Joe: *comes in, with a few jokes* Oh shit... that's not good.

Me: yeah, I know.

*both panic, then shut off the computer and go to class.* Needless to say, I was freaking out the whole time. I don't have any of my MIT files backed up. I have two tests, and I can't not be connected to the system since I have half of my homework online. I came home during lunch, but nothing changed. It still said the same thing. So I called my brother up, left him a message, and then went to get my Math test back. I GOT AN A!!!! So that was good. My seminar was cancelled, so I decided that I'll get home and run a diagnostic on the computer (like the troubleshooting guide told me to). I come home, turn on the button, and it work perfectly.

Me: *CURSE CURSE CURSE CRY AND HUG THE COMPUTER*

The thing is, I don't know what happened to it. Jenny lent me a blank CD so now ALL my files are backed up, just in case. But it seems to be all right so far. *HUGS IT*

So yeah. That's about it. I need to study for Chemistry and Physics tests. And then go to work tonight.

Lots of love to all.
