everyone else has commented about the weather, and now it's my turn!
i loooove the clouds! they're so gorgeous!!! the other day when i was driving to officemax around sunset, patches of the sky were visible through the cumulonimbus clouds which were purple and blue and gray and intense and leaden and it was soooo pretty!! the wind was cool too.... i stood under the palm trees that line the tustin marketplace and listened to the leaves swish and crackle in the wind. it sounded like electricity.
and as i drove i listened to kuci and the music went so well with the weather! i like how christian music is so spiritual and uplifting. lately i've been trying not to get pissed off at other cars on the road, and it's been working with the aid of music. i've also been blasting my music and singing along at the top of my lungs. it's a very effective way to purge stress.
i've been dwelling on the idea that i am connected with everything because i am made of the same stuff as everything else in the universe. so if i hurt something, i am hurting myself in the long run. and if something takes advantage of me, it is actually taking advantage of itself. i guess it's a new way for me to think about karma. i've also been thinking of my mind as a big pond, and when something disturbs me i have to let it subside like ripples instead of letting it penetrate too deeply.
