I'm going to assume you're from some point after the war because, however foolish it was for you to ignore the help and information that was given to you, you're not that dumb. It is good to know you made it through everything alive.
However, we all seem to have been yanked out of our world into another dimension. This island is known as Atollo, the man you so conveniently ignored is known as Arawn and has been present at the arrival of everyone on the island as far as we know. He was kind enough to perform some healing on myself and Matsumoto-san when we arrived but it wasn't much. Most of the shinigami here, in fact, have arrived injured. Kurosaki-san and a few of his friends are here as well.
Now the important things you should know about the island are as follows: For one there is no way off the island that anyone has been able to access. Secondly, the rulers of this place seem to want to study emotions and as such have decreed that we are required to engage in ( ... )

Knowing that everyone woke up here beat up just kind of makes him feel like shit for not coming in the same condition. He's lucky that he didn't really, but none of that sounds any kind of fair.
When Kira started really listing things out he wished he had a note book, and nearly flailed a little before realizing that there was no way there was anything to write with or on anywhere near him. So, listening had to happen, and it did. Of course his steady listening face slowly twists up a few times there. He's touching his cheek by the time Kira is done talking.]
